Pool opening service
- After the cold and cloudy days, we all expect the summer impatiently and pool owners get eager to schedule their pool opening service. Always keep in mind, the best idea is to open early and close late. If the condition of your pool underneath the safety cover looks like something you are not able to deal with, First Look Service is here to bring back the joy and happy moments you have been waiting all winter long! Our pool technicians will be more than happy to help with your swimming pool opening and to bring that nice crystal blue look to your backyard swimming pool. Our professionals will take care of everything needed to get your pool ready to be used - from pulling the safety cover to vacuuming the pool bottom, brushing the walls and balancing the water chemicals.
Swimming pool opening service starts as low as $385 with chemicals included.
POOL OPENING PRICE LIST*:
· No pool cover - $385
· Standard mesh pool cover - $435
· For spa, booster pump - add $50

POOL OPENING INCLUDES**:
· Swimming pool (and spa if any) safety cover removal, fold and store in a desired location by the customer
· Deinstall gizmos and winterizing plugs from all skimmers, return lines and main drain lines
· Assemble pool equipment, pool pump motor, filters, heaters, booster pumps
· Prime and start filtration system
· Visual survey for mechanical issues during the pool opening
· Monitor for recommended flow rate in water circulation system
· Add water chemicals to balance the water within the accepted levels (chemicals included in the price***) - please note our technicians are licensed swimming pool operators and have better knowledge on stabilizing water chemicals during the pool opening process
· Install equipment such as skimmers, main drain covers, return eye balls or plates, ladders, hand rails, diving boards (if applicable)
· Initial pool cleaning up to 15 minutes, vacuum pool bottom and brush pool walls (additional cleaning will be charged by the hourly rate after clients approval)
NOTES TO CLIENT:
o For the pool opening service water level must be at least half way the skimmer throats when our technician arrives or we will have to charge for a follow-up visit.
o Make sure that electrical and water supply are turned on.
o Remove all leaves and water from the pool cover.
o Make sure that our pool technician has access to cleaner, skimmer baskets and all wall fittings.
o Pool opening service is up to 1.5h (any additional time will be charged by the hourly rate after client approval)
o Pool opening process may require a few chemical treatments, wall brushing and pool bottom vacuuming. Decision on whether additional visits will be needed is related to the condition of the pool after taking off the safety pool cover and starting the pool filtration system. Our technicians may recommend additional visits after the pool opening charged at normal hourly rates.
